Punta Mita was the selected destination for the client’s 2024 Reward Trip. The previous year’s design featured a bright, colorful palette, so this time I wanted to shift toward a more refined and masculine aesthetic. The client had loved the turtle motif from the prior year, and coincidentally, Punta Mita is also known for its thriving sea turtle population along its beaches and resorts. I incorporated a turtle-inspired element again, but rather than focusing on the icon itself, I drew from the hexagonal pattern of a turtle’s shell to create a distinctive texture that set this year’s design apart from the last.
